The AMA University - College of Computer Studies programs were recently granted Level IV Status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation ,Inc. (PACUCOA) - a recognized private accrediting agency under Federation of Accreditation Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP). The highest recognition a deserving program can receive from PACUCOA, the Level IV Status was awarded to AMAU - CCS for maintaining excellent standards (over and above the minimum requirements for government recognition) in its educational operation, particularly in offering the programs Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT).

The AMAU-CCS programs are also internationally accredited by the U.S. –based ABET (global gold standard in engineering and computing education accreditation) Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) since 2013 and CHED Center of Development since 2015. The CS and IT programs are also recognized by the SEOUL Accord, the international authority on quality assurance for education in the computing and IT-related professions.

These recognitions are proofs that AMAU is still leading and dominantly providing relevant globally recognized information technology-based education and related services in the global market, thereby producing productive professionals and leaders in the society.
