AMA Sagpaya, a group composed of Senior High School students from AMA College Baguio, bagged the Grand Prize (Overall Best Performance) in the Annual Cordillera Gong Festival, besting 47 other teams, held last October 8, 2017 at the Burnham Park in Baguio City. The group also received special awards for Best in Chants, Best in Costume and Props, Best Storyline and Best in Music and Community Singing.
