According to a memo released by CHED, the following must enroll in college until SY 2017-2018 in order to skip Senior High School:
• ALS passers and those who graduated from high school before 2016
• College undergrads
• Those who only finished vocational course or associate degree
By school year 2018-2019, everyone who wishes to go to college will be required to go through senior high school first (Grades 11 and 12).
THE GOOD NEWS!
Fortunately, there are institutions that accept college enrollees this SY 2017-2018. That means, you still have the chance to enroll for your desired college course and skip senior high school. Below is the list of our member schools that will accept college enrollees for SY 2017-2018:
• AMA University and Colleges
• ABE International Business College
• ACLC College
• St. Augustine School of Nursing
• Southern Luzon College - Cavite
• Sta. Veronica College - La Union
Admission Requirements
FRESHMEN (NEW ENROLLEES)
1. Accomplished Application Form
2. High School Report Card (Form 138)
3. High School Transcript (Form 137a)
Note: This should be a school to school transaction to ensure its authenticity
4. Certificate of Good Moral Character
5. 2x2 picture (for 201 file)
6. 1x1 picture (for ID)
TRANSFEREES
1. Accomplished Application Form
2. Honorable Dismissal/ Transfer Credentials
3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
4. Temporary Transcript/ Certificate of Grades for evaluation purposes
5. Official Transcript of Records to be sent by the previous school with a notation: COPY FOR: AMA University, Proj. 8, QC
6. Subject description taken from the previous school
7. 2x2 picture (for 201 file)
8. 1x1 picture (for ID)
So go ahead and pursue the college degree of your choice! Remember, this is your last chance to go straight to college and skip senior high school.
