AMA College Davao Engineering students won awards in the 11th Engineering Congress Region XI held in Davao City on March 7, 2019. The event was organized by CoDEE Region XI, DOST Region XI, CHED Region XI, which are members of the Davao Region Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development Consortium (DRIEERDC).
The team composed of Keziah Anne Doro-on (BSECE) and Mcoven Tadaaki Fujikawa (BSCpE), won as 2nd runner-up for Design Project Competition, with their project entitled "Vehicle Speed-limit Monitoring and Warning Device".
In terms of talent, the group composed of BSCpE students, Marklin Tindoy, Bai Queencess Samaon, Ian Cris Tamondong, Vic Alejandro Neri; and BSECE students, Keziah Anne Doro-on, Vince Ruel Ajoc, Vincent Talingting, Chifferd Monteron and Vincent Esplana, bagged the 1st runner-up award in Engineering Got Talent Competition.
