Waleed Yousef Al Busmait, a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering (BSME) student of AMA International University – Bahrain (AMAIUB), together with two students from other universities, ranked third in the successfully concluded Huawei ICT Competition Global Final in Shenzhen, China on May 25-26, 2019.
Waleed won for AMAIUB in the local competition hence he was one in the team formed along with students from UOB and Polytechnic University that represented the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Middle east Competition where the team bagged the second place in the Huawei ICT Competition Middle East last year.
Such achievement is another affirmation that students from AMAIUB have commendable performances and global competitiveness in various arenas.
Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communication technology (ICT). Huawei ICT Competition is in its fourth year of encouraging more students to learn about the advanced digital technologies through competitions and rewards, thus attracting more than 100,000 students from over 1,600 colleges and universities in 61 countries including the Kingdom of Bahrain this year.
