ALS passers in 2019 and previous years may enroll directly to college in public and private universities and colleges according to CHED Memorandun Order (CMO) No. 10 issued on 11 June 2018, entitled Policy
on Alternative Learning System Completers and Passers of the A&E
Test in Relation to the Implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education
Program in support of the Department of Education’s Order No. 27 (DO 27) issued on 08 June 2018 in relation to the ALS.
As part of the requirements for admission of ALS passers, they must present their Certification based on the Certificate of Rating with at least 60% passing score issued by the Department of Education (DepEd). The Certification should be authenticated with signature of the schools division superintendent (SDS) and the seal of the schools division office.
In compliance to the said order, AMA Education System (AMAES) accepts ALS passers in all its campuses and member schools. In addition, with the implementation of blended learning for all its programs, students can have more time for other activities as classes are only 3 days a week.
