From a small town in Pangasinan to the bustling metropolis of Sydney, Kimberly Grace Montemayor is embarking on an incredible journey to pursue her dreams of becoming a professional accountant. At only 23 years old, she has already achieved so much, completing her senior high school at AMA Tarlac, then graduating from a state university with a degree in industrial engineering and gaining valuable experience in process engineering and the BPO industry.

But Kimberly's ambitions didn't stop there. She knew that to truly excel in her field and make a difference in the world of business, she needed to expand her knowledge and skills. That's why she chose to study a Master of Professional Accounting program at King's Own Institute (KOI) in Sydney through a partnership with the AMA Education System.

For Kimberly, KOI was the perfect choice. The school has a stellar track record in business and accounting, is highly accredited by TEQSA (Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency of Australia), and offers affordable tuition fees for foreign students. Plus, with friends already studying in Sydney, she knew she would have a support system to help her settle in and adjust to her new surroundings.

Kimberly's interest in accounting stems from her belief in its crucial role in building successful businesses. She plans to integrate accounting strategies into her work as an industrial engineer and hopes to leverage advanced teaching technologies and first-hand industry experience through her studies abroad.

And now, thanks to the AMA-KOI Partnership program, Kimberly has been given a pathway to study, work, and reside in Australia, further solidifying her global reach and potential for success.

It hasn't been an easy journey, but Kimberly has persevered and worked hard to make her dreams a reality. She discovered the AMA-KOI 2+2 pathway through social media and applied for the Master of Professional Accounting program in January 2023. After completing the necessary requirements and applying for her visa, she was granted permission to study in Sydney and arrived on March 4, 2023, ready to start her classes just two days later.

The Master of Professional Accounting program is a 16-subject course that can be completed in two years or less, and after graduation, Kimberly will have the opportunity to apply for a post-study work visa, granting her four more years to make her mark on the industry.

Kimberly's determination, hard work, and unwavering spirit are an inspiration to us all. She's proving that with dedication and a thirst for knowledge, anything is possible. We can't wait to see all the amazing things she'll accomplish in the years to come.

The AMA Education System (AMAES) and King's Own Institute (KOI) recently formed a dynamic partnership that will provide students and alumni of AMAES with a clear pathway to study, work, and reside in Australia.
