On June 9, 2023, the AMA Education System (AMAES) Academic Affairs Department hosted the 2nd AMAES-Wide Research Congress, a groundbreaking event that showcased the remarkable achievements of talented students across various fields. Held at AMA University in the Philippines, the congress was a testament to AMAES's commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and the transformative power of research.
The event brought together the brightest minds from all AMAES institutions nationwide. The theme, "Beyond All Boundaries: Advancing Society’s Future through Research and Innovation," inspired attendees to push the boundaries of knowledge and technology. Ms. Genalyn Macalinao, Policy Lead of the Cybersecurity Bureau of the Department of Communications and Technology, highlighted the day with her keynote address, sparking lively discussions with her insightful remarks.
The congress also featured a hackathon challenge, an ESET cybersecurity awareness seminar, and an industry partner appreciation segment. This segment included presentations from our esteemed industry partners and linkages: ESET, Accenture, Institute of Accounting, TOA Global, Kalibrr, SyntechNX, 8 Diverse, Astoria Culinary and Hospitality Institute, and Pru Life UK. These partners set up booths and stations, providing students valuable information for future on-the-job training opportunities and company giveaway products.
But the heart of the event was the celebration of the winners of various competitions, from the college exhibit to the STEM exhibit, Mobile Legends, Sumobot, Hackathon, Poster Making Competition, Multidisciplinary Student Research, and Accounting Quiz Bowl. The winners showcased their skills, knowledge, and creativity, making AMAES proud.
The 2nd AMAES-Wide Research Congress was more than just an event; it was a celebration of the relentless pursuit of knowledge and innovation that defines AMAES. It was a testament to AMAES's commitment to providing quality, IT-based education that equips students with the skills and knowledge needed in the modern digital landscape.
Whether you attended in person or virtually, the event was a testament to AMAES's commitment to shaping future leaders who are tech-savvy, globally competitive, and ready to meet the demands of the times. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for their outstanding achievements! Stay tuned for the next AMAES event and join us in our mission to advance society's future through research and innovation. AMA Education System is your education partner today and tomorrow.
