Australian Dream Come True: AMA IT Student Turns Curiosity into Reality

Dustine Blu Correa, a sophomore IT student from AMA Computer College Caloocan

At a remarkably young age, Dustine Blu Correa, a sophomore IT student from AMA Computer College Caloocan, is already driven by a grand ambition: to finish his BS Information Technology degree abroad. He was always curious about Australia as a study destination due to its global reputation and prominence in the field of information technology and systems development, as well as its strong presence in software and systems development.

Driven by his passion for technology, Dustine Blu recently commenced his studies at King’s Own Institute (KOI) in Sydney, Australia. Through the partnership between AMA and KOI, his thirst for knowledge and curiosity about IT in a global context led him to explore international study opportunities.

When asked why he chose KOI, Dustine Blu had a compelling reason: a seamless academic transition. The partnership between AMA and KOI meant that he could continue his IT studies without a significant disruption in his academic progression. His educational path at KOI will see him complete his IT degree, with credits for courses he has already completed at AMA.

Dustine Blu is keenly aware that studying in Australia is a significant investment, but his family has embraced the idea of his overseas education, understanding it could open doors to a world of possibilities.

Looking at the future through rose-tinted glasses, Dustine Blu sees himself returning to the Philippines after completing his studies in Australia. Armed with a strong foundation in IT, he plans to join the workforce and aspires to ascend the ranks in the IT industry.
