As the nation comes together to honor the dedication and selflessness of educators, AMA Education System proudly joins the Department of Education (DepEd) in celebrating the culmination of National Teachers' Month. This year’s celebration, which is a grand tribute to teachers, underscores the essential role they play in shaping the countless students across the Philippines for the future.
The Teachers' Month celebration, initiated by DepEd, acknowledges the tireless efforts of educators who continue to inspire, guide, and nurture students despite the many challenges they face. In line with this, AMA Education System reaffirms its commitment to supporting teachers and providing them with the tools and resources needed to excel in their profession.
Teachers from all over the country enjoyed live performances from various artists, including AMA Education System’s Gen Z influencers, Cloud 7 and their partner artists, Tawag ng Tanghalan’s JM Dela Cerna And Marielle Montellano. Teachers were also given the opportunity to win huge and exciting prizes from various partner companies.
Among the attendees of this event were various political figures, showing their support and appreciation for our country’s modern heroes. Among these honored guests are President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., accompanied by his wife and first lady, Louise Araneta-Marcos. Also present in the crowd was incumbent DepEd secretary Ho. Sonny Angara, and various congressmen and mayors from NCR.
“To our teachers, keep shaping our students who will not only face the uncertainties of today, but will also embrace the opportunities of tomorrow. Our future rests in your hands. This Administration trusts that you will help us build the Bagong Pilipinas that we all aspire to achieve,” the President added.
Secretary Angara also addressed the teachers during the event, saying, "Isa po sa unang sinabi niya (President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.) sa akin alagaan natin ang ating mga guro, mahalin natin ang ating mga guro dahil sila ang nasa puso ng ating sistemang pang-edukasyon (One of the instructions the President gave me was to take care of our teachers, to love our teachers because they are the very heart of our education system)”.
As the country continues to celebrate Teachers' Month, AMA Education System stands in solidarity with DepEd in saluting the country's teachers for their extraordinary service and unwavering commitment to shaping young minds.
