AMAES’ Successful Launch of the Executive Diploma in Cybercrime Security Program



The first day of the Executive Diploma in Cybercrime Security program started yesterday, December 7 with resounding success, marking a significant milestone in advanced cybersecurity education. The session, spearheaded by renowned trainer Dr. Amos Kibet, drew a total of 32 participants, including 25 online attendees and 7 on-site learners. With the support of technical experts, Engr. Arnel F, Hibo and Dr. Gerard Ngo, the program’s debut set the stage for an impactful journey toward addressing the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals.


 Diverse Attendance Reflects Growing Interest in Cybersecurity  

The inaugural session attracted participants from diverse sectors, with 10% from law enforcement, 10% from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and a majority—80%—from private institutions. Geographically, 40% hailed from regions outside Metro Manila, while 60% were based in the National Capital Region (NCR). 


This high level of engagement underscores the pressing need for advanced cybersecurity training across the Philippines, as organizations increasingly prioritize safeguarding digital infrastructure.
