Lorenzo Joaquin T. Andres is a driven and passionate 20-year-old student from Laguna. He has completed the 2nd year level of his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program at AMA Makati, where he discovered his love for programming during his high school years. But that's not all. Lorenzo aims to take his IT skills to the next level by enrolling in Bachelor of Information Technology at King's Own Institute (KOI) in Sydney, Australia starting in March 2023, through AMA-KOI's 2 + 2 pathway program.

Lorenzo's decision to study abroad was fueled by his desire to broaden his horizons, explore new cultures and meet new people. He believes that pursuing further studies in IT will equip him with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a leader in the industry. Lorenzo chose Australia as his study destination because of the AMAES and KOI partnership, which offers high-quality education that meets international standards.

What's more, Lorenzo is thrilled about the prospect of participating in an embedded internship, which will provide him with practical experience in his field of study and give him a competitive edge. He's also excited to immerse himself in Sydney, a culturally diverse city, and make new friends and connections.

Lorenzo has big dreams for his career. He wants to become a software engineer or IT manager for a reputable tech company like Google or Microsoft. But his aspirations don't end there. Lorenzo also hopes to contribute to the development of his country's technological capacity and earn a salary that will enable him to repay his parents for their support.

AMA Education System and King's Own Institute (KOI) have recently established a dynamic partnership that offers a clear pathway for students and alumni of AMAES to study, work, and reside in Australia. With this partnership, students like Lorenzo can pursue their dreams and become leaders in their fields, making a positive impact on their communities and the world. We wish Lorenzo all the best as he embarks on this exciting new chapter of his life!
